Upper Limits
[:Hello, hello, my beautiful friend. Happy Thursday and welcome back.
Today we're continuing with our December theme, which is breaking through our hidden barriers, stepping into our full potential, into our full power. And if you haven't listened to the previous episodes this month, I really urge you to go back and take a listen because they're all super short, like all my content, but they compound on each other.
So last week we chatted about what I call manifestation ceilings, and these are psychological, they're rooted in our beliefs. It's kind of like when you don't believe that you're capable of achieving your goals or that you're worthy of having them, Or maybe you secretly think that, , your dreams are for other people, right? People who have a better education, a better background or something like that.
l belief that success is not [:And here's the truth that I didn't talk about last week, but I think it's really important. A manifestation ceiling, it's really a problem with source. And let me be clear. I'm not talking about religion here. I'm talking about the creative force of the universe, God, the universe, whatever you want to call it.
But when we hit a manifestation ceiling, we're essentially saying that the force that created the universe. This force can create for others. It can create miracles for others, but just not for you. Right. It's almost like a deep and often hidden belief system that you're somehow not worthy of everything and anything that you can imagine,
er to it like this, like the [:Right? So that is what a manifestation ceiling is, but our upper limits, they're totally different. These aren't psychological, they're biological. They live in our nervous system, in our human anatomy,
they show up not when we're dreaming about success, but when we actually start to experience it.
going well, when we start building momentum, when we start dipping our toe outside of our comfort zone, that's when our upper limits will often hit. And this is a distinction that many teachers miss, because they'll tell you to work on your beliefs, to think positively, to trust the universe, to work on your mindset.
And yes. All of that's [:\ So here's a couple of ways that upper limits show up. They might show up like, um, creating drama when things are flowing super smoothly, or picking a fight with your partner when things are going great.
I know this is definitely one of my upper limits. Andy will be happy to tell you all about it. , Another way is maybe getting mysteriously sick before a big opportunity or you might start procrastinating right at the time when you just start building momentum.
he brakes saying this is too [:And here's kind of how it works. when you're growing and expanding and stepping into a new level of abundance or success or love or joy, sometimes our nervous system just can't handle it.
Like we've been running at a certain set point for a really long time and anything above it or below it, whether it's more love, more ease, more money, more anything, it just can feel a little scary. It can feel unsafe. And when this happens, and our nervous system will try and pull us back to a place that feels safe and familiar, even if it's less fulfilling than where we want to go, even if it means it's sabotaging our goals,
because our brains are designed to keep us safe but all of our growth happens right outside that comfort zone.
one this so many times. I've [:They'll push things off until next week or next quarter or next year, which you know, we honestly know what that means, right? To never. They just keep pushing it off and pushing it off. And the worst part is that the world needs what they have. They're super smart. They have brilliant ideas that need to be shared, but their nervous system is almost running an old program that says success or expansion equals danger.
And then that self sabotage is always right there. It's like ready to pick up the pieces, ready to jump on in and make us feel comfortable again, right?
And here's the thing with upper limiting the reasons sound so legitimate sometimes.
mits are masters at sounding [:I mean, come on, it's almost never about any of those things. It's our nervous system hitting the brakes again because expansion feels dangerous And our logical brain, our thinking brain doesn't know this. It seems like a logical explanation that we should be spending all our time on our website or that we need that other certification, right?
I have a beautiful friend who has a thousand certifications and right when she gets ready to start teaching to step in fully into her power, she signs up for another certification
rains don't know we're doing [:like I said, our brains are wired to keep us safe. So if you're getting tired of getting super close and then just watching yourself pull back, I want you to know something.
It's not a character flaw and it's definitely not a sign that you're not ready. It doesn't mean you're failing. This is just normal human territory. It's your nervous system doing exactly what it's designed to do.
And friend, you're totally not alone in this. Everyone has upper limits. Everyone goes through this and the good news is it's workable. Once we understand upper limits, we can work with our nervous system to expand our capacity for everything.
r all of the things. But the [:My beautiful friend is very convinced that she needs another certification, but she doesn't. She could teach the certification courses. She's so brilliant.
So once we recognize this, once we know it's happening there are several ways that I work with my clients to help them regulate their nervous system as they move into success, as they step into full potential.
For those of you who don't know, I'm a trauma informed somatic coach. And a lot of the work that I do with trauma work is similar to what we're doing with regulating the nervous system.
strategy is to take it slow. [:This is really helpful, especially if, if you're wanting to grow with money, because we all have so many beliefs about money, even if you don't think that you have them, they are in there. For instance, if you want to go from making 100, 000 to 200, 000 in 2025,
it can be a little unsettling on the nervous system. Again, it doesn't make logical sense because we think, well, of course I want 200, 000. That sounds lovely. Why would I resist that? Again, this is not our logical brain. This is our subconscious and our subconscious old brain , it's thinking things like tigers in the forest are trying to eat me. I have to keep myself safe. That's what our brain thinks,
tic manifesting process, and [:And it's a very strategic practice that has the power to help you blow through your upper limits because what we do is we include our nervous system in the experiencing. I know that might sound. A little woo woo, but basically what we're doing is we are imagining ourselves in our desired state.
So whether that is with more abundance, whether that is with love, whether it's stepping into our full potential, whatever it is, we're going to spend time visualizing it with full sensory integration. So we are going to, include all of our senses, our sight, smell, sound, smell, taste, touch, all of the senses
we do this practice enough, [:It's like a little override. And it's so powerful when you learn this technique, when you implement it on a daily basis, you can blow through some huge upper limits, all of those invisible limits that keep us small and keep us safe,
they're also keeping us from stepping fully into our power.
And it is my mission in life to help as many women as I can step fully into their power, step fully into their full potential
and live a life that they deserve.
. It's just the way our body [:. All right, friend. Let's make 2025 the year when we all step fully into our power. We break through these barriers. I really hope that you'll join me. I'm doing a six week live course. It's called Manifestation Mastery,
I'm going to take you step by step through the process of breaking through those invisible barriers.
And also the process of neurosomatic manifestation, which is such a simple technique, simple but not easy, because you have to follow the steps and it does take work. But this is going to be a small group class, it'll be a live class, you'll be getting one on one support from me for an entire six weeks.
ou know it's time for her to [:We do this together, friends, a rising tide lifts all boats and friend, we are the fucking tide. All right. Have a beautiful week. Have a wonderful holiday and I will see you next week. Until then, keep manifesting an epic fucking life.
